Decagon Devices, Inc.

 

Decagon Devices is recognized world-wide as a leader in the development of sensor technology and the associated systems that allow for the sensing of agricultural environments.  Founded in 1983 by Dr. Gaylon Campbell, a renowned soil scientist at Washington State University, Decagon's instruments are used throughout the world in organizations of all sizes, including food processors, pharmaceutical companies, universities, research and testing laboratories, government agencies, vineyards, farms, and industrial testing facilities.


Dr. Colin Campbell, VP for Research and Development leads Decagon’s team in this research initiative.  This team is focused on developing the next generation of wireless sensor nodes and a sophisticated software interface for highly intensive horticultural production and environmental monitoring systems.

 

Ms. Lauren Bissey is the soil moisture Product Manager at Decagon Devices. Lauren provides technical support for the research and development teams involved in this project.
